The surgery’s objective is to lift the areola and the nipple, and reshape the mammal glands as the breast is too low and misplaced in its superior part. It results in more volume and more curve, conform to the patient's aesthetic wish.
Am I a good candidate for breast lifting?
Yes, if I am a woman who is not satisfied with her breasts, very likely after pregnancies (breastfeeding) or a major weight loss. The mammal ptosis can also be done consequently to a diminution of breast volume, when it is originally too imposing (hypertrophy).
Required conditions: in case of hypertrophy, the surgery can be done as long as the patient is 17 years old minimum, otherwise it is advised to wait after the pregnancies before considering this type of surgery.
How is the surgery performed?

The surgery will basically tighten the skin on the mammal gland which will be centred and put back into the right position, correcting in some cases the asymmetry between the breasts. The nipple and the areola will be moved higher and the leftover skin will be removed to ensure the new breast is tight and with a beautiful shape.
The length, number and place of the incisions depend on the hypertrophy and on the ptosis degree. The three illustrations show the incisions (white dotted line) in the case of a big ptosis.
If the surgery is performed for a ptosis due to insufficient breast volume, a mammal implant can be added.
